Part 2 - Meridians Series
Course Description : This 35-hour Yin-Yang Yoga Teacher Training course aims to provide a detailed exploration of the essence of Yin-Yang yoga, going beyond common misconceptions. While some may think of Yin-Yang yoga as simply splitting a class into 50% Yin and 50% Yang practices, true Yin-Yang yoga is a deeper practice that seeks to balance the energies of body, mind, and spirit through the harmonization of energy fields. In this course, we start with the fundamental philosophical concepts of Yin and Yang and guide you in a deep study of how to balance these opposing energies in your yoga practice to achieve harmony within yourself. We don't just explore the hybrid postures of Yin-Yang yoga but also emphasize teaching you how to skillfully integrate the gentle Yin and the vigorous Yang elements in your practice, achieving a perfect balance of physical strength and mental agility. Additionally, we delve into the deeper concepts of Yin and Yang duality and instruct you on how to transform these concepts into practical yoga practice and teaching techniques, making them genuinely valuable for both you and your students. You will gain a profound understanding of the underlying theory of Yin-Yang Flow Yoga and refine your physical abilities, flexibility, and comprehension of yoga through practice. The course also covers techniques for repairing and purifying the energy field, helping you elevate your energy levels and attain a higher level of self-awareness and mind-body-spirit balance. We will introduce core Taoist concepts, particularly the concept of "Tao," and explore its profound meaning in yoga practice. Dive deep into the original theories and practices of Taoist Yoga to enrich your knowledge of yoga.
