Roxanne Wentworth

Originally from South Africa, Roxanne fostered an early love for movement from a childhood spent outdoors. Following this passion led her to train in ballet and contemporary dance from the age of 5, and later to study and obtain a diploma in flamenco dance as well as foster a love for yoga. It wasn’t, however, until she moved to Hong Kong, and needing a release from a demanding schedule working in the fashion industry, that she truly begun to appreciate the profound effects yoga could have on both the body and the mind. Falling in love with and wanting to share this new found sense of patience and empowerment that came from her time spent on her mat, she completed her 200hr yoga teacher training via the Venkatesa Ashrama in South Africa and further expanded her knowledge with pilates and rebounding certifications.

As a multi-disciplined individual, she takes inspiration from many different sources and through this aims to create a dynamic and informative practice. Roxanne believes that everything we are looking for can be found within and strives to infuse this sense of empowerment into every class. As a teacher passionate about seeing others succeed, she enjoys challenging her students in a supportive and fun manner and hopes to set an example both on and off the mat by leading a holistic lifestyle. First and foremost, Roxanne wants her students to finish her class feeling better than when they began.

Maggie Wong

Stepping on the yoga mat for the first time in 2006, Maggie treated yoga as a workout exercise at the very beginning. With time goes by, she experienced more ups and downs in life, and she found the healing effect of yoga.

Yoga isn’t only about physical body, but also an inner journey. By practicing yoga, she finds the tranquility and satisfaction from within. In 2015, she decided to inspire more people – to listen to their body and heart, so she took a RYT 200 YTT with Frances Gairns at Pure Yoga. Maggie cares about student’s body condition and mentality, therefore her teaching focuses on alignment and mindfulness. In her class, you will find asana (yoga postures), intimately connected with pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation.

Outside the studios, she hosts outdoor charity yoga event regularly, and she is a columnist of a popular local media contributing her knowledge about yoga. She believes yoga is for everyone.

Peggy Chi

Peggy has attained 200 hours teacher training course with us. She believes the definition of the word yoga is “union,” as one of the main purposes of the practice is to connect your mind, body and breath. Practicing yoga on a regular basis can help you to improve your strength, flexibility, balance and mindfulness. She wants to help her students accomplish this connection by leading them through a class or session comprised of physical exercises, breathing work and mental focus.

Zennya Yau

Having been a professional dancer for over 20 years with excessive injuries, ever since 2004, the same year that I have started practicing nutritional management, I have finally found Yoga, an integral wisdom of healing and syncing bodies and souls, the best way to give both peace and therapeutic solutions to ones' inner-self as well as physical wounds of the body. Because of that I have recovered from my injuries and gained so much confidence and joy from within! I am always thankful to the Zennya Yau today who always wears big smiles and have positive vibes!

I strongly believe in therapeutic yoga, which has become my specialization in yoga teaching since 2007. I love to inspire my students to obtain their inner balance and heal through their yoga journeys. Experiencing, sharing and living at the moment with them have been the main reasons that keep my unstoppable passion going. Let us embark on this journey and together we will rise!
