Funding will only be granted upon approval by the Government.
Answer: No
The Continuing Education Fund (CEF) is a government subsidy scheme.
The application and approval outcome are determined solely by the Government and are independent of the course enrolment, class arrangement, and tuition fee collection.
If a student’s CEF application is not approved, the course fee already paid will not be refunded or compensated.

The Continuing Education Fund (CEF) only accepts applications after a student has completed the entire course.
No advance application, reservation, or pre-approval arrangement is available before course completion.
Answer: Subject to individual circumstances.
Students must meet the CEF requirements regarding the valid study period, minimum attendance rate, and assessment criteria in order to submit an application.
Eligibility for application is subject to the final approval decision of the CEF Office.
Answer: Yes
According to CEF requirements, all students enrolling in a CEF-recognised course are required to sign the “Participant’s Declaration and Consent for Enrolment in Fund Course” before the course commences.
This declaration confirms the student’s consent to the disclosure of personal data to relevant government departments for CEF application and assessment purposes.
Please note:
The above declaration is for data disclosure and confirmation purposes only and is not a CEF reimbursement application form.
The formal CEF application must be submitted by the student to the CEF Office after completing the course and meeting all required criteria.
Answer: Yes
The Continuing Education Fund (CEF) has clear requirements regarding course attendance and assessment.
If a student fails to meet the required attendance rate or assessment criteria, they will not be eligible to submit a CEF application.
For details of our school’s attendance and assessment requirements, please refer to Q10.
Answer:
To meet the eligibility requirements for CEF application, the school has established minimum standards for course attendance and assessment.
Students must achieve:
- a minimum attendance rate of no less than 80%, and
- completion of all required assessment components, with an overall assessment result of at least 65%,
in order to be issued a course completion certificate and the relevant documents required for CEF application. Students who fail to meet the above attendance or assessment requirements will not be eligible to submit a CEF application.
Answer: No
CEF applications must be submitted by the student personally to the Government.
In accordance with CEF requirements, the school is required to confirm the student’s course participation and completion details in the system.
Such confirmation is for verification purposes only and does not constitute submitting or processing the application on the student’s behalf.
Answer:Upon completion of the entire course and fulfilment of the school’s attendance and assessment requirements, the school will, in accordance with Continuing Education Fund (CEF) regulations, provide eligible students with the following documents for submission with their own CEF application:
-
Course attendance / completion certificate
-
Proof of payment (official receipt)
-
Other relevant documents as required by CEF (if applicable)
