Important Notes

  • When enrolling in the course, applicants must sign the Consent and Confirmation Declaration provided by the school. If this is not signed, or if the applicant confirms at that time that they will not apply for CEF reimbursement and do not agree to disclosure of personal data to the designated authority, they may lose the right to apply.
  • The CEF Office will not accept courses added later that were not declared in the original application form. A new form must be submitted for other courses.
  • For fund courses starting on or after 1 August 2022, if the applicant has not yet used up the first HK$10,000 subsidy, the Office will deduct from the account balance and co-payment first, and then calculate the remaining amount under the next HK$15,000 subsidy portion.
  • When filling in the form, applicants must list courses in order of course start date, from earliest to latest. The CEF Office may adjust the order if needed to help the applicant receive the maximum subsidy.
  • If required documents are missing, the application may be rejected.
  • When the total subsidy reaches the HK$25,000 maximum, the applicant’s CEF account will stop operating.
