With over 50 successful intakes, our teacher training courses are well recognized for their quality and effectiveness. The program is officially approved under Hong Kong’s Continuing Education Fund (CEF), allowing eligible students to apply for tuition fee reimbursement.
Admission Procedure
1. 1. Complete and submit the application form. Application Form
2. Eligible applicants will be invited for a trial class or interview.
3. If places are full, applicants will be placed on the waiting list.
4. Successful candidates will receive admission notice and enrollment form via email/WhatsApp.
5. Submit the enrollment form and pay the first installment of HK$5,200 by the deadline.
6. Once confirmed, students receive the official admission letter, Student Handbook, and may collect course materials in advance.
Admission Requirements
- HKCEE Chinese & English: Grade E or above; OR HKDSE Chinese & English: Level 2 or above; OR Equivalent qualification.
- Mainland/overseas applicants must pass the Academy’s language test.
- Minimum two years’ work experience.
- Pass interview and asana ability test.
CEF Reimbursement
This course is recognized under the Hong Kong Government’s CEF scheme. Eligible students who complete the course with at least 80% attendance and achieve a minimum score of 65/100 in assessments may apply for reimbursement within one year after course completion.

Eligibility requirements:
- Hong Kong residents with the right of abode, right to land, unconditional stay (shown as “A”, “R” or “U” on the HKID), or those holding a One-Way Permit from Mainland China.
- Aged between 18–70 at the time of course commencement and at the time of application (Note: No age limit for courses commencing on or after 1 August 2022).
- Successfully completed the course with 80% attendance and a passing score of 65/100 or higher.
- Tuition fee fully paid and not receiving any other form of public funding for the same course/unit/credit.
Subsidy Application & Reimbursement Timeline

Students must complete the course and meet attendance and assessment requirements to apply.

Applications must be submitted within one year after course completion, either online or in paper form.

Whether applying via the GovHK e-portal or by mail/counter, processing usually takes around 8 weeks once all documents are complete.

Approved reimbursements will be deposited directly into the student’s designated bank account.
Application Steps
Students must submit their CEF application within one year of completing the course, and before reaching 71 years old. (Note: No age limit for courses starting on or after 1 August 2022). Late applications will not be accepted.
1) Electronic Application Apply via the GovHK website
E-Application Registration "iAM Smart+"
- Non-iAM Smart+ users: must print and sign the application form within 1 month of online submission and deliver the original to the CEF Office.
- iAM Smart+ users: no printed copy required.
2) Mail or Counter Submission
Submit the completed application form together with supporting documents (e.g., HKID or One-Way Permit, benchmark test results and fee payment proof if applicable, and a bank passbook or statement showing the applicant’s name, account number, and bank code). Applications can be sent by post or submitted in person at the CEF Office.

Important Notes:
- Students must sign the Consent and Declaration Form provided by the institution at the time of enrollment. Failure to sign, or refusal to consent to data disclosure to designated public authorities, may result in ineligibility for CEF reimbursement.
- The CEF Office will not process courses added after submission of the application form. Separate applications are required for additional courses.
- For courses commencing on or after 1 August 2022: if the first HK$10,000 subsidy has not been fully used, the remaining balance will be applied first. Any outstanding balance will then be deducted from the next HK$15,000 subsidy portion.
- Applicants must list courses in order of start date (earliest first). The CEF Office may adjust the order to maximize the reimbursement amount.
- Applications without the required supporting documents may be rejected.
- Once the maximum reimbursement cap of HK$25,000 is reached, the applicant’s CEF account will be closed.
